Red Dot Concept Design
for Kitchen APPLIANCE

I led the design team at Dexai Robotics which won the 2020 Red Dot concept design award in the kitchen appliance category. For the early stage startup, I designed and rendered their vision for their product with the founders and engineering team. We developed user workflows, UI, and a library of utensils and interactions the robot would have, laying out a vision that would influence the future of kitchen robotics. As the idea matured, we had produced a solid understanding around usability, features, and constraints of flexible kitchen automation. This foundational work is carried on to this day as Dexai continues to work towards bring kitchen automation to a restaurant near you!
